- What, no ponies?
- Daily Show: Dan Choi Is Gay #
- John Oliver really nails this one.
- The Tale of the Edsel #
- "Every Edsel dealer in the country conducted a raffle in which first prize was a pony." Never thought I'd see that line delivered with a straight face. Now, a couple conclusions, go read it first... OK, done? I think the author overreaches a lot in his description of the circumstances. There were some pretty sizeable mistakes here - the marketing was clearly off (a new product that compared poorly with existing competition?!). And getting the build quality wrong... that's a massive blunder in the automotive industry. Yes, they were unlucky in their timing, but wow, this was not well played.
- YouTube: The Vendor-Client Relationship #
- "I'm not making any money on this either!"
- Telecom and Vodafone Up the Promo Ante as 3G Competition Heats Up #

- However, if the thought of Isabella Rossellini with a 6-foot penis perturbs you, don't click this link.

- YouTube: "Father & Son / Keep In Touch" Telecom Ad #
- The epic timespan this ad colours is a feat in itself. (Cries a single tear for ye olde Telecom.)
- Murdoch: Web Sites to Charge for Content #
- Some of those quotes... "The current days of the Internet will soon be over." Megalomania, anyone? I believe charging for web content could be a successful business model, I'm just not sure News Corp. will be the ones to do it.
- YouTube: "I Feel Pretty" Nike Ad #
- Come for the Sharapova, stay for the fantastic concept and execution.
