Ever since I started this blog I’ve been toying with the idea of a separate link roll (e.g. caoine’s del.icio.us) rather than putting them within posts. The positive is I can avoid crappy posts like this that are just a list of links. The negative is that I end up replacing it with, well, a list of links that becomes even more devoid of context – even more crappy. This consideration is often rapidly followed by another thought: does anyone even click these links anyway, no matter where I put them? Because it is one of those things that my stats don’t track, and I can only imagine (or ask people, who provide a resounding chorus of ‘no’). Then I think, why do I even bother anyway? And then I go to my blog and post about it because that’s what we need more of in blogging, people who feel depressed and underappreciated. Big shortage of them.

If you live in New Zealand, there is good news. The highly underappreciated Trailer Park Boys plays 11:25 Tuesday nights on 2. The bad news is that if you turn the TV on a bit early, you will have to watch Lost. And I guess that’s what hurts. People are watching Lost and not this. The philosophical question is, how can I help you when you do it to yourself?

(I know, I know. You don’t want my help. And I don’t wish to force it upon you. I guess sometimes we should worry about where the ship is sailing, that’s all.)
