DF Wallace, aye. I’m not sure what to think. He’s certainly awfully talented, but Broom of the System and Infinite Jest seemed to me to be exercises in pointlessness, and a fairly tedious strain of postmodernism. Fun to read though, and his shorter fiction is better.
